5. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time through the Qrunch app:

 

  1. Open the app, go to App Settings > Account > Delete Account.

  2. Confirm the deletion request on screen.

 

When you delete your account, most of your personal data will be removed immediately, including:

 

  • Profile details (nickname, profile photo, personal attributes)

  • Messages, matches, likes, and other interactions

  • Location and usage history

 

However, some information must be kept temporarily for legal and security purposes, such as:

 

  • Your user ID and email address

  • Authentication logs

  • Records related to guideline enforcement or dispute resolution

 

How long we keep this information

We will retain this limited information for up to 180 days after your account deletion request. After that, it will be permanently deleted or anonymized, unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your jurisdiction, where data protection laws may differ. By using our services, you consent to such transfers.

Qrunch is intended for users who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete the information.
