Qrunch is a geolocation-based social networking app made for the gay, bi, trans, and queer community. Whether you’re looking to flirt, connect, or just vibe, Qrunch makes it easy to find people near you—or across the globe. As of May 15, 2025, Qrunch is completely free to use.

When you open the app, you’ll land on the Grid — the Qrunch homepage — where you’ll see other users around your location. By default, the Grid shows people closest to you, as well as those who currently may be featured or boosted. Qrunch collects your location with up to 100m accuracy. You can turn Show Distance on or off at any time:

• With Show Distance ON, the Grid displays users based on proximity and shows your relative distance from them.

• With Show Distance OFF, your relative distance is still used to sort the Grid but will not be displayed to others.

You can also customize your experience using Grid Filters to narrow down what (or who) you’re looking for. Filters include:

• Online Now

• Age

• Position

• Looking for

• Category and other filters

Spotted someone interesting? Tap their profile to view their photos, details, and start chatting—or send a quick Tap to show interest.

Qrunch is free for everyone, but our upcoming premium features will give you access to even more powerful tools and options.

Step 1: Download the Qrunch App

Before you can start your journey, make sure to install Qrunch on your device:

• iOS: Download Qrunch from the App Store

• Android: Download Qrunch from Google Play

Step 2: Sign Up and Accept Terms

Once you open the app, tap “Sign Up” to get started.

You’ll be prompted to read and accept:

• Qrunch Terms of Service

• Qrunch Privacy Policy

After accepting both, you can continue by choosing your preferred sign-up method.

Sign Up with Email

1. Type in your email address.

2. Create a secure password.

3. Confirm your password.

4. Select your Date of Birth.

5. Tap Finish.

You may be asked to complete a quick security check before you’re ready to build your profile.

Sign Up with Google

1. Tap the Google icon.

2. Accept our Terms and Privacy Policy if prompted.

3. Choose the Google account you’d like to use.

4. Tap Next to continue.

Note:

If you already used a Google account before, logging in with it again will take you back to your original Qrunch profile. Selecting a new one will create a brand-new profile.

Sign Up with Apple (iOS Only)

1. Tap Sign in with Apple.

2. Accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.

3. Choose Face ID, Touch ID, or enter your Apple ID credentials manually.

4. Tap Continue to complete signup.

Note:

We can’t reset your Apple ID password. Be sure to use the same Apple ID each time you log in.

Accessing Your Data & Chats

Once your account is set up and you’re logged in, your profile, chats, and preferences are stored safely. You can also request a copy of your data if needed.

Inactive Accounts

Qrunch automatically deletes accounts that haven’t been used in 24 months, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. If your account is deleted, you’ll need to start fresh — but you can always rejoin using your original login method.

To make sure Qrunch runs smoothly on your device, it’s important to have the latest version of your operating system installed. This guide explains the minimum OS requirements, how to update your Android or iOS device, and what to do if you’re using an unsupported device.

Minimum Device Version Required

As of May 15, 2025, Qrunch requires the following minimum operating systems:

• Android: Version 8.0 (Oreo) or higher

• iOS: Version 15.0 or higher

If your device uses an older version of Android or iOS, Qrunch will not be supported. You’ll need to update your device to continue using the app.

The minimum app version required to run Qrunch is:

• Android: Version 1.0.0 or newer

• iOS: Version 1.0.0 or newer

Don’t worry—if your current device becomes unsupported, your Qrunch account won’t be deleted. You can always access your profile again on a supported device.

How to Update Your Android OS

Steps to update most Android devices:

1. Open your device’s Settings app.

2. Scroll down and tap System > System updates. (If needed, first tap About Phone or About Tablet.)

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to update.

How to Update Your iOS

Steps to update most iPhones and iPads:

1. Open Settings.

2. Tap General.

3. Tap Software Update.

4. If an update is available, tap Download and Install.

For help with your Apple device, visit Apple Support.

Qrunch is a global platform built for connection, and we believe everyone deserves a great experience—no matter where they’re from or what language they speak.

As of May 15, 2025, Qrunch is only available in English for the app’s interface. However, users are free to type and chat in any language within profiles, messages, and chats.

We plan to support more languages in future updates.

Current App Language:

• App UI: English only

• Profile and chat input: All languages supported (type freely)

Changing Your Language Preference (Device Settings)

While Qrunch is only available in English at this time, you can still change your device language if needed. This will not change the language of the app but may affect your keyboard, regional settings, and other apps.

For iOS:

1. Open Settings

2. Tap General

3. Tap Language & Region

4. Set your preferred language

Note: Qrunch will still appear in English regardless of your system language.

For Android:

1. Open Settings

2. Tap System or Language & Input

3. Tap Language

4. Choose your preferred language

Note: If the language you choose is not supported by the Qrunch app, it will default to English.
