  • Keep it Legal: Don’t promote illegal activities or share explicit content without consent.

  • Protect Privacy: Keep your personal information safe and respect others' privacy.

    • In Public (Profiles): Only share images of yourself. Don’t post content that is pornographic, violent, or intended to promote or sell anything.

    • In Private (Chats and Albums): You can post nudes of yourself, but never share images of others without their explicit and enthusiastic consent. Don’t post violent or promotional content.

  • Respect Boundaries: Always seek and respect consent. Unwanted advances or harassment will not be tolerated.

4. Content Guidelines

  • Profile Content: Only share images of yourself. Do not post pornographic, violent, or promotional content.

  • Private Content: In private chats or albums, you may share explicit content of yourself, but never of others without their explicit consent.

  • Prohibited Content: Sharing or promoting illegal activities, including drug use or solicitation, is forbidden.

5. Image and Media Guidelines

Qrunch is a place for people of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, genders, and identities to express themselves and their sexuality joyfully and freely.

That said, in order to keep a healthy and thriving community, there are certain types of images that we cannot allow (images include photos and videos). We have different rules for public and private content.

  • In Public (Profiles): Images must be of you and cannot be pornographic, violent, or illegal.

  • In Private (Chats and Albums): You can post nudity, but still no violent or illegal content.

THE DETAILS:

  • Keep nudes private. Qrunch is a sex-positive place, but not everyone wants to have an explicit conversation right away (or, in some cases, ever). Ask for consent before sending nude photos or explicit messages, and don’t post these things publicly.

  • On profiles, we allow underwear photos, non-pornographic sexual poses, and some images of butts if they are non-graphic and without an overly sexual context. Our user experience has to be acceptable to Apple and Google’s app store decision-makers, lest we get removed from their platforms.

  • Sexually explicit images are not allowed on profile photos:

    • Images depicting pornographic sex acts, real or mimicked, clothed or unclothed, alone or with others.

    • Filters/scribbles used to mask pornographic content. (If you can still tell that it’s pornography, it’s not allowed).

    • Sexually explicit nudity, such as exposed genitals.

    • We are working towards gender-inclusive photo rules. Unfortunately, due to current app store policies, we must categorize women’s nipples as prohibited nudity. Men and nonbinary people are allowed to show their nipples. For our rules that are not about nudity, all people are treated equally.

    • Bodily fluids, including semen, urine, or blood (fake blood in costumes is ok).

  • We ask that you keep Qrunch joyful and positive. This means no content anywhere (including albums and chats) that is violent, offensive, illegal, or spammy.

  • Images must be of you or created by you. Sharing images of your partner(s) or of anyone else must only be done with affirmative, enthusiastic consent.

  • We do allow creative content (doesn’t have to show you or your face) including photos or drawings you’ve made yourself.

  • Drug Use: Images of drugs (including implied drug use & drug paraphernalia) are not allowed. Casual references to cannabis, tobacco, and alcohol are allowed (for example, a cannabis leaf on a t-shirt; an image of someone smoking), but we do not allow images that are solely or mainly focused on substances or that we believe may be meant to advertise drugs or promote drug use.

  • Commercial Activity: Images that are advertising items or services for sale, focusing mainly on a product logo or brand, or featuring website addresses for a particular company. Images depicting or focused on cash, credit cards, etc.

  • Animal Harm and Weapons: We do not allow images or content showing harm to animals under any circumstance. This includes depictions of animal cruelty, distress, or injury. Additionally, images of weapons and firearms are not allowed, unless they are clearly toys shown in a non-threatening and playful context.

  • Minors and Underage Representation: Any photos that include minors (people under the age of 18) are strictly prohibited, even if they are in the background, partially visible, or blurred. This includes childhood images of yourself and any media that could be interpreted as involving or targeting minors. Absolutely no exceptions.

  • A Note on Moderation: We use both automated and human review to moderate images, and are working to reduce bias through AI learning and team education. If you see content on Qrunch that violates any of our guidelines, please let us know through the in-app reporting tools. We do not take gender (with the exception of nipples, see above statements on app store restrictions), ethnicity, age, body hair, or body type (or body hair type) into consideration when deciding whether to approve a photo.
